It is known that HarmonyOS 2.0 which was announced by Huawei some time ago brings many changes including support so that users become more confident using it. Recently, Huawei itself has announced that there are 4 million developers who have agreed to release their applications on HarmonyOS and currently there are more than 134,000 applications registered through HMS Core. Smartphone users who don’t rely too much on Google applications such as Gmail, YouTube, or Maps will feel at home with HarmonyOS 2.0 because the list of applications in the HarmonyOS 2.0 App Store is quite diverse. In addition, to increase developers to distribute their applications on HarmonyOS, Huawei is known to have held a contest titled Huawei HMS Global Application Innovation Competition 2021. The competition is known to compete with great developers to create innovative applications using HMS Core. Developers from China, Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa can participate in this contest, Huawei has also prepared a total prize of US $1 million (equivalent to ₦412,540,032 in Nigeria).
