Well then, Huawei reportedly plans to introduce 5G chips in March 2019, to be followed by 5G phones by the end of the next quarter. Huawei CEO Eric Wu stated that it will come true with the completion of the Release 16 protocol issue of 3GPP related to connectivity with low latency and large, and the opening of 5G network and service development. According to him, the 5G network will promote mobile video streaming and other services such as Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality. To meet such network demand, Huawei will launch commercial solutions for NSA (non-standalone) networks by September 2018, while stand-alone platforms like 5G Kirin SoC will follow in March next year.
